Added new artwork in the illustration section. Pretty pleased with the end result. It started as a random doodle, and ended up being a bug eyed space monkey.

Photoshop, 6-7 hours.

Uploaded some recent print work I’m pleased with. Check out the print section for some cover work. Photographing the AR on the blueish cover for Rekyyli was fun. Probably the best cover I’ve done so far. Not everyone was happy with the look. “80′s gun porn” was one comment. Meh, what ever.

Daydreaming… Artwork added

Check out the illustration section. Added a new digital painting… “Daydreaming”. I’ve always wanted to paint a sort of 50′s style image with chicks and bombs and planes n’ shit. And that’s what I ended up with. Got little carried away in the process and it pretty much crossed to surreal. Spent a huge amount of time on this, approx. 10-12 hours over several days. I dislike many of the details but I think the colors are awesome. Anyway, I learned a lot in the process. I really need to get rid of the endless detail polishing… I should just use big strokes and stay focused on the big picture.

Added an illustration piece I did for our hunting magazine a few years back, “Hunter Types”. It was originally an illustrative piece in an article about different types of hunters. Now we’re making buttons out of them for promotional purposes, expos and so forth…

New artwork added in the illustration section of the portfolio, “Drill Instructor”. This was going to be a recurring illustration piece in an airsoft magazine Softaaja, which was published by our company. Unfortunately Softaaja is no longer with us. I’m happy with illustration though. Inspired by Lee Ermey, who else?

My name is Antti Teittinen and I’m a Finnish graphic designer currently residing in Helsinki. Spacemonkey.fi is my home on the web. You can find some of my assorted work in the portfolio section on the right.

I’ve done most of my work in the field of print, but I’m no stranger to web design either. I’ve also done some illustration work, although digital art and illustration are more of a freetime hobby for me. At least for time being.
